A little work and this will be a great app. ![]() I'm a licensed user of XYplorer, but these issues prevent me from working with XYplorer when I work on Windows Management Instrumentation and other Windows issues. I like the features, but it crashed both time I opened it and tried to send my hard drive contents to a file. Both WBEM folders are populated with hardlinks with virtually no actual files, but XYplorer doesn't tell the user that these are hardlinks and not files. It shows 159 entries rather than the 290 actually in the Windows\System32\WBEM folder. This new version takes me to Windows\SysWOW64\WBEM when I select the Windows\System32\WBEM folder from the XYplorer folder tree. When searching for duplicates in the search results in the 'Duplicates' column, add the item 'Remove the non-first items in each group and replace them with hard links to the first items in the group' In this case, the name of the deleted file replaced by the hard link must remain the same. I figured I would have a 64 bit version of XYplorer installed that would work through the Redirection issue, but the issue still exists with version which from what I read is 32 bit. Along with the "Redirection" issue with System32 folders, the lack of hardlink overlays on the icons makes it impossible for me to work on projects such as evaluating Windows Magement Instumentation in "Windows\System32\WBEM which is the default folder for WinMgmt.exe. I can't recall if they show correctly in the previous version I was using. Right now you can drag and drop a file to another tab or pane and the context menu gives you options such as Copy Here or Move Here. I've noticed that folder juntions show up properly with XYplorer version. ![]() One of my favorite function is the Branch view (liste applatie in French), allowing you to view every files just like if there were in one folder. The icons show up as a regular files that actually exists in the folder without the icon overlays. Even after being in details view, if you cant see anything in junction target, then an. XYplorer is a tool that let you to work very efficiently. Hardlink icon overlays do not show up when you have hardlinks in a folder. XYplorer 7. I've also noticed an issue with icon overlays.
